Kimlun wins RM128mil construction job


PETALING JAYA: Kimlun Corp Bhd has secured a construction contract from Tanah Sutera Development Sdn Bhd for a residential development in Daerah Johor Baru, Johor totalling RM128.13mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kimlun said the contract, which was secured by wholly-owned subsidiary, Kimlun Sdn Bhd (KSB), will comprise two sections.

Section one, with a contract value of RM57.86mil, will be completed by the third quarter of 2026.

Meanwhile, section two is worth RM70.27mil and will take 21 months to be completed.

KSB’s offer for works in section two would be valid for the employer’s consideration and acceptance within six months from Oct 3, 2024, it said.

Kimlun said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial years during the contract period.
