KUALA LUMPUR: Bilateral trade between China and Malaysia surged to US$117.52 billion (US$1 = RM4.30) in the first seven months of 2024, a 10.8 per cent increase compared with the same period last year, said Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing.
Additionally, China’s non-financial direct investment in Malaysia grew substantially to US$1.28 billion, marking a year-on-year rise of 28.8 per cent, he said.
