RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil’s state-controlled oil giant Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) is accelerating a plan to re-enter the fertiliser industry as the country’s agricultural sector booms, according to sources.
Petrobras’s fertiliser initiatives include developing innovative technologies and assessing an estimated US$800mil investment to complete works at a plant known as UFN-III.
