JTGB bags RM29.77mil contract


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd (JTGB) has secured two contracts pertaining to underground cable-laying, totalling RM36.36mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, JTGB said it had secured a contract worth RM29.77mil from YM Teras Sdn Bhd to lay 33 kilovolts of aluminium XLPE underground cables and accessories for asset development in the southern region of Malaysia.

JTGB said the contract shall be effective from the date of acceptance and shall be completed within a period of 580 days from the acceptance date.

Separately, JTGB said it had bagged a RM6.59mil contract from Worktime Engineering Sdn Bhd for cable pulling of 132 kilovolts of underground cables for a data centre at Bukit Jalil.

“The scope of works would include the erection of power cables, fibre optic cables, joint and termination, testing, commissioning, and all ancillary works.

“The contract shall commence on the date of acceptance of the LOA and for a contract period of 17 months,” it said.
