Mikro MSC acquires Singapore signage firm TES Productions for RM30mil

PETALING JAYA: Mikro MSC Bhd is proposing to acquire Singapore-based TES Productions and Projects Pte Ltd (TES) for RM30mil in shares to diversify into the business of design, manufacture and installation of signs and advertising displays.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Mikro MSC said it had entered into a heads of agreement with Calida Group Pte Ltd for the proposed acquisition of 100,000 ordinary shares in TES, for RM30mil.

Mikro MSC said TES is principally involved in the manufacturing of signs and advertising displays.

“The proposed acquisition represents a strategic opportunity for the company to expand its footprint in Singapore, diversify its revenue streams and reduce dependency on a single geographical market.

“By entering the new market segment where the signage and interior fit-out businesses operate, the company aims to broaden its customer base and capture additional revenue streams to reduce the risk of over-reliance on its existing businesses.”
