PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s manufacturing-sector sales increased 5.9% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM156.1bil in June 2024, maintaining its positive trend since January, the Statistics Department says.
The increase was primarily driven by the electrical and electronics products sub-sector, and supported by the food, beverages and tobacco sub-sector, and the non-metallic mineral products, basic metal and fabricated metal products.
