Ringgit firmer against US dollar at the close

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit closed higher against the US dollar today as investors remained wary of the global economic outlook ahead of key United States (US) inflation data to be released later in the week, an analyst said.

At 6 pm, the ringgit rose to 4.6890/6910 versus the greenback compared to yesterday’s close of 4.6940/6990.
