Epicon gets subcontract job worth RM50mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Epicon Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Transnational Builder Sdn Bhd has secured a RM50mil sub-contract from Axventure Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Epicon said the contract is for the works of structural reinforced concrete works for Tower 1 and Tower 2 under a high-rise residential development in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.

The contract is for 24 months which is expected to commence on May 20, 2024 and to be completed on May 19, 2026.

Epicon said the is expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2024 and onwards.

“Upon the awarding of this new contract, the company's total outstanding order book has risen to RM979mil from the previously stated RM929mil in the announcement made on Mach 21,” it added.
