Spritzer clarifies mistaken identity in insider trading report

KUALA LUMPUR: Spritzer Bhd has clarified that its managing director, Datuk Lim Kok Boon, was wrongly implicated as an insider trading offender in a report.

“It appears to be a mistaken identity, both having the same name but they are two different persons,” Spritzer said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

"Our managing director, Lim has not committed any ‘insider trading’ offence and neither has he been ordered to pay any civil penalty for an insider trading breach by any party," it added.
