AWC gets Hospital Kapar plumbing job worth RM17.8mil


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Qudotech Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award worth RM17.8mil from IJM Construction Sdn Bhd for plumbing works at Hospital Kapar, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AWC said the sub-contract work shall commence from March 22, 2024 and be completed by May 22, 2026.

Additionally, Qudotech also received a letter of award from We Progress Centre Engineering Sdn Bhd for plumbing works at Vantage KUL14 Data Centre, Cyberjaya for a total contract sum of RM1.59mil. The contract is slated to be completed on Feb 17, 2025.

The new contracts adds to the RM142.2mil orderbook replenishment recorded up to Dec 31, 2023. This brings the outstanding orderbook to around RM800mil. The group’s tender-book remains healthy, at above RM1.2bil across all business divisions.
