EVD wins contracts worth RM19.5mil


KUALA LUMPUR: EVD Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, EVD Engineering Sdn Bhd (EVE) has secured two contracts totalling RM19.5mil from Sing Foong Niap Engineering Sdn Bhd (SFN).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the ICT system solutions provider said the first contract is a mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E) works for a waste paper warehouse, including its coal warehouse, office and distribution room, owned by Best Eternity Recycle Technology Sdn Bhd (BERT) at Kuala Langat, Selangor worth RM3.51mil.

The second contract involves M&E works for the power generation facility of BERT's recycle pulp and packaging paper plant at Kuala Langat, Selangor worth RM15.98mil.

The first contract is for a period of three months while the second contract is for 9.5 months from commencement dates.

EVD said the contracts are expected to contribute positively towards its earnings and net assets for the financial years ending June 30, 2024 and 2025.
