Matrade eyes RM2.6bil sales from key events

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) expects to generate RM2.6bil in export sales this year via seven key trade programmes between Malaysia and China to commemorate the 50th year of diplomatic relations with China, Bernama reports.

Citing a statement, the news agency noted that Matrade had said the trade events are expected to benefit more than 500 Malaysian exporters, aimed at deepening economic relations between the two countries.
