KUALA LUMPUR: Companies that recently made headlines include AirAsia X, Microlink, Fajarbaru, Binastra, Parkson Retail and PETRONAS Gas.

AirAsia X (AAX) has partnered with Kazakhstan Tourism to elevate tourism and further boost economic ties between Malaysia and Kazakhstan through a strategic collaboration.

Microlink Solutions Bhd said it plans to raise up to RM89.4m via a rights issue of redeemable preference shares (RPS) with detachable warrants to repay its bank borrowings and finance working capital.

Parkson Retail Group Ltd (PRGL), a 54.9% owned subsidiary of Parkson Holdings Bhd, has entered into a loan agreement in relation to a syndicated loan facility worth an aggregate RM1.6n.

Petronas Gas Bhd (PetGas) has approved a final investment decision for the development of a new compressor station costing up to RM650m in Jeram, Selangor.
