Jati Tinggi secures deal for data centre infrastructure


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has secured a contract worth RM22.1mil to develop 275 kilovolt underground cable double circuit for a data centre located in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

In a statement, the infrastructure utilities engineering company said the contract, awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd by Worktime Engineering Sdn Bhd, was the group’s maiden data centre infrastructure job.

The contract commences on March 27, 2024, for a contract period of 13 months.

“This signifies a pivotal expansion for us as we are poised to leverage our expertise in utilities engineering to contribute to the development of high-tech facilities such as data centres,” Jati Tinggi said.
