Berjaya’s unit sale to Naza nearing close


PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Corp Bhd has received the final approval to complete the RM700mil sale of its 100% equity interest in Berjaya Enviro Holdings Sdn Bhd (BEnviro) to Naza Corp Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Following the Energy Commission’s approval letter dated Feb 27 to Berjaya Energies Sdn Bhd, the group said all the conditions precedent as set out in the share sale agreement (SSA) have been fulfilled.

“The proposed disposal is expected to be completed upon settlement of the purchase consideration in accordance with the SSA,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
