HLI 2Q net profit up 39.4%


KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Industries Bhd’s (HLI) net profit rose 39.4% to RM102.47mil in the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2023 (2Q24), from RM73.53mil in 2Q23.

Its revenue, however, declined to RM743.55mil from RM841.61mil due to lower sales.

For the first six months of its financial year ending June 30, 2024, HLI’s net profit increased to RM190.14mil from RM155.41mil a year ago, while revenue fell to RM1.58bil from RM1.73bil.
