Dayang to remain prudent in managing its business


PETALING JAYA: Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd will remain prudent and disciplined in managing its business affairs, while continuing to deliver outstanding performance.

As of December 2023, Dayang said its outstanding estimated call-out contracts stand at about RM1.9bil.

“Going forward, we will be participating actively in new tender activities while waiting for the outcome of tenders already submitted,” it said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.

For the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2023, Dayang’s net profit jumped to RM93.79mil from RM12.52mil a year earlier, while revenue rose to RM351.08mil from RM222.3mil a year earlier.

Basic earnings per share stood at 8.10 sen versus 1.08 sen previously.
