KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd
's wholly-owned subsidiary TC Services Vietnam Co Ltd has been appointed GAC Motor International Co Ltd's vehicles distributor in Vietnam.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the auto distributor said TC Services Vietnam has acquired the rights to import, distribute and sell vehicles and spare parts as well as provide after-sales services on the vehicles.
It also has the right to appoint sub-distributors to perform after-sales services for the vehicles and spare parts.
The term of the contract is for a period of three years.
"The agreement will provide TCMH Group with opportunity to expand its foothold in the automotive industry in Vietnam," it said.
