Tropicana wraps up 2023 with robust RM1.4bil in sales

Tropicana Cenang is making a splash at Langkawi with 90% take-up for its first phase, Assana Serviced Suites and following the success, Tropicana rolled out Merissa Serviced Suites with 60 beachfront homes in a low-rise serviced suites tower.

PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corp Bhd concluded 2023 on a strong note with RM1.4bil in property sales and 11 industry awards.

The property developer also recorded unbilled sales of 2.3bil, ensuring a strong footing for sustained earnings in the next few years.

Tropicana said the significant increase was mainly attributed to its aggressive TropiQuest marketing campaign, customer engagement initiatives as well as strong commitment from its team and agents.

It added that the introduction of new customer centric developments and phases in existing townships boosted its sales growth.

“Since early 2023, we have reported a string of positive news, from our successful sukuk redemption, multiple award triumphs to positive take-up of our properties across Malaysia.

“We are confident that Tropicana will continue to strengthen its market presence and contribute to its future earnings supported by our high unbilled sales of RM2.3bil and strong property sales recorded across Malaysia. This is also complemented by our eight new or upcoming developments worth an estimated gross development value (GDV) of over RM4bil in 2024,” Tropicana said in a statement.

Tropicana holds a landbank of 1,842 acres, boasting a potential GDV of around RM120bil.
