MAHB is still in negotiations with the government for the finalisation of the new OA2023.
IT has been seven years since the government gave its approval in principle to extend the operating agreements (OA) for Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd
’s (MAHB) units, but until now, no new OA has been inked yet.
This approval in principle, given in 2016, is for MAHB to continue to operate, manage, maintain and develop 39 airports and short take-off and landing airports across the country until 2069.
