MANILA: Citicore Renewable Energy Corp, one of the Philippines’ biggest solar power producers, says it has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) of up to 12.94 billion pesos (US$231.9mil).
Citicore plans to sell up to 3.335 billion shares, including an over-allotment option, at up to 3.88 pesos (US$0.07) per share, to finance new solar power plants, riding on a big push by the Philippines to rely on cleaner sources of energy.
