KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit is expected to maintain its strength against the US dollar this month due to the greenback’s seasonal weakness and ahead of continuing disinflationary expectations in the US, according to Kenanga Research.
The research house said the ongoing US macro underperformance, which contributes to the market's dovish narrative of the Federal Reserve, is also likely to further undermine the US index, supporting the local note’s appreciation.
