Sovereign ratings likely to be status quo


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s sovereign rating is likely to be status quo for at least the next three to six months, says Maybank Investment Bank (Maybank IB) Research.

The research house said that currently, both S&P and Moody’s rate Malaysia at A-/A3, while Fitch Ratings assigns one notch lower at BBB+.
