PETALING JAYA: Top Glove Corp Bhd says there will be no further impairment made in the future, as the group expects a recovery for glove demand in the near future on the back of cost-effective measures as well as improved utilisation rates.
Top Glove has undertaken a total of RM389mil in impairment and write-off of assets in June to August 2023 alone, and this comprises a goodwill impairment of RM138mil with the remainder going to impairment and a write-off of property, plant and equipment.
