KUALA LUMPUR: Econpile Holdings Bhd
has secured a contract worth RM101.3mil from Suriamega Development Sdn Bhd to undertake the substructure works for three blocks of SOHO comprising two blocks of 50-storey SOHO and a block of 51-storey SOHO in Kuala Lumpur.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Econpile said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd had on Sept 29, received a letter of award dated Sept 27 from Suriamega.
Econpile said the works for the project are divided into three sections with different dates of commencement. The works for each section will be completed within 18 months from their respective date of commencement
The date of commencement for Section 1 is Oct 2, 2023, while those for the other two sections will be confirmed later.
“The project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the company from the financial year ending June 30, 2024 onwards,” Econpile said.
