Sapura Energy posts RM43mil net profit in 2Q


PETALING JAYA: Sapura Energy Bhd recorded a net profit of RM42.81mil for the second quarter ended July 31, 2023 (2Q23), helped by lower depreciation, a higher share of profit from joint ventures and associates as well as foreign exchange gains.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the PN17 oil and gas company reported a revenue of RM1.14bil for the period, down by 3% year-on-year, due to the completion of its integrated rig drilling completion project.
