Kerjaya Prospek wins RM203.06mil contract from Samsung-KP JV


KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPM) has secured a contract worth RM203.06mil from Samsung-KP JV, a consortium comprising KPM and Samsung C&T (KL) Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kerjaya Prospek said the contract is for the concrete structure works (substructure & superstructure) for TIEM2 Bump/ Probe/ AT factory construction at Batu Berendam, Free Trade Zone, Melaka.

The contract work is part of the construction work covered in the letter of award granted by Texas Instruments Electronic Malaysia Sdn Bhd to Samsung-KP JV as announced on Oct 26, 2022.

Kerjaya Prospek said the contract shall commence on Sept 29, 2023 and to be completed within 12 months from the commencement date.

“The contract will have no effect on the issued share capital of the company but it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years ending 2023 to 2024,” it said.
