Bioalpha appoints former judge Mohd Yazid Mustafa as chairman


KUALA LUMPUR: Bioalpha Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Mohd Yazid Mustafa as independent non-executive chairman, effective Sept 4.

The integrated health supplement company said Mohd Yazid’s appointment follows the retirement of Tan Sri Dr. Syed Jalaludin Syed Salim as chairman on June 7.

Mohd Yazid brings with him a rich background in law, backed by a distinguished career in the Malaysian judiciary system.

Prior to his appointment, he served as a High Court judge for 15 years. In addition, his accomplished professional experience encompasses various pivotal capacities within the Malaysian legal system.

Following his retirement in December 2022, Mohd Yazid continued to contribute to public service as a Court of Appeal judge at the Terengganu Syariah Court.

Mohd Yazid holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universiti Malaya.

Bioalpha has also appointed Tan Su Ning as an independent non-executive director.

A lawyer by training, she is currently a partner at Messrs. Terrence Lee & Co. Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London.
