MGB to enter collaboration on optimising operations via AI tech

KUALA LUMPUR: MGB Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary MGB International for Industry has entered into a memorandum of collaboration with Nordimpianti System S.R.L. and MCT Italy S.R.L. to cooperate on the utilisation of digital technnology to improve the efficiency of machinery and optimising operations in MGB's manufacture of IBS precast concrete products in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In a filing with Malaysia, MGB said Italian firm Nordimpianti is a prominent manufacturer of advanced machinery and technology equipment used in the production of prestressed concrete components while MCT Italy specialises in batching plants for concrete production and distribution systems.

"The collaboration between MGBI, Nordimpianti and MCT Italy is to coordinate, refine and automatise processes using artificial intelligence-driven concrete technology to enhance the efficiency of the machinery and optimise operations for producing IBS precast concrete products in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," said MGB executive vice-chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San.
