Mudajaya wins RM195mil ECRL contract


PETALING JAYA: Mudajaya Group Bhd has accepted a contract from China Communications Construction Sdn Bhd to undertake the construction and completion of stations, ancillary building and other associated works for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project in Terengganu.

The RM195.1mil contract was accepted on Aug 1, 2023, by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mudajaya Corp Bhd, and the project is expected to be completed by 2026 with a construction period of 32 months from the date of site possession.

Based on a statement by Mudajaya Group, the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023 onwards.
