Mudajaya wins RM195.1mil ECRL contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Mudajaya Group Bhd has secured a contract worth RM195.1mil for the construction and completion of stations, ancillary buildings and other associated works (Package 3) for the East Coast Rail Link project located in Terengganu.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Mudajaya said its wholly owned subsidiary Mudajaya Corp Bhd received the letter of award from China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd.

The project is targeted to be completed by 2026 with a construction period of 32 months from the date of site possession.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023 onwards,” Mudajaya said.
