TNB to benefit from the country’s energy transition agenda


MIDF Research said that TNB is well positioned to ride on NETR.

PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has been upgraded to a “buy” from a “hold” by MIDF Research, as it believes that the utility giant will be at the centre of Malaysia’s energy transition agenda.

The research house said the government’s aggressive renewable energy (RE) targets and constructive policies to drive this would create two-pronged benefits for TNB.
