Proton sales climb 28.6% to 77,321 units in first half of 2023


KUALA LUMPUR: Proton's sales performance in June brought the carmaker's half-year sales figure to 77,321 units, which represents a 28.6% increase over sales in the same period of the previous year.

In a statement, the national car manufacturer said it sold 14,351 units in June, which gave it a market share of 23.2% out of the 61,800 total industry volume during the month.
