KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks in focus on Monday include Boustead, Yinson, Kitacon, HHRG, Globaltec, Astino, Apollo Food, Jaycorp and Beshom, said Apex Research.

Boustead Holdings Bhd will be delisted on June 28th, Yinson’s 1QFY24 net profit rose 73.33% to RM208 million, Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd has secured a RM50.3 million construction project in Ijok, Kuala Selangor.

HHRG Bhd has proposed to acquire a 7.23-acre piece of leasehold industrial land in Penang for RM15.74 million via cash and share.

Globaltec Formation Bhd has received tax waivers on its coal-bed methane (CBM) production-sharing contracts (PSC) in South Sumatra.

Astino Bhd’s 3QFY23 net profit increased 8.1% to RM12.71 million.

Apollo Food Holdings Bhd's 4QFY23 net profit jumped 77.74% to RM6.8 million.

Jaycorp Bhd’s 3QFY23 net profit dropped 40.73% to RM5.47 million, Beshom Holdings Bhd saw its quarterly net profit halved to RM2.66 million.

he US market declined on Friday as profit taking ended its eight-week winning streak following renewed fears on recession after the Federal Reserve said it will continue to hike rates.

Earlier, the European markets continued to drop after the Bank of England’s 50 basis point rate hike was higher than expected.

On the local market, the FBM KLCI declined 3.78 points or 0.27% to 1390.89 points.

"Following last week’s gains, the FBM KLCI could consolidate below its resistance of 1,407 points," said Apex.
