Ringgit extends recovery against US dollar on better risk appetite

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit extended its earlier recovery momentum towards the end of today’s trading and closed marginally higher against the US dollar as risk appetite improved amid weaker greenback sentiment.

At 6 pm, the local note ended at 4.6115/6160 versus the greenback compared with Thursday’s closing of 4.6185/6235.
