Government has no plans to raise activation pricing level of IPG


If the activation pricing level of the Rubber Production Incentive is increased, the government’s estimated financial needs in 2023 are projected to be as much as RM457mil, the Plantation and Commodities Ministry said.

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has no plan to raise the activation pricing level (APL) of the Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) to RM3 per kg compared to the current RM2.70.

According to the Plantation and Commodities Ministry, if the APL of the IPG is increased, the government’s estimated financial needs in 2023 are projected to be as much as RM457mil.
