IHH Healthcare to pay 9.6 sen special dividend on June 30, following IMU divestment


KUALA LUMPUR: IHH Healthcare Bhd has declared a special cash dividend of 9.6 sen per ordinary share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023, following the divestment of its medical education arm, International Medical University (IMU).

The dividend will be paid out to all shareholders on June 30, 2023.

In a statement today, the healthcare provider said its shareholders and their proxies had approved all 10 ordinary resolutions tabled during its 13th annual general meeting for the year ended Dec 31, 2022.

"We are also committed to sharing value with its shareholders and have proposed a special cash dividend of 9.6 sen per share following the sale of IMU, in addition to the first and final dividend of seven sen per share declared,” said chairman Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan Hashim.

The meeting was held virtually and conducted entirely through live streaming and remote voting using the remote participation and voting facilities from the broadcast venue. - Bernama
