Ancom unit acquires 70% in HJU Chemicals


PETALING JAYA: Ancom Nylex Bhd’s wholly owned unit, Ancom Crop Care Sdn Bhd (ACC), has inked a share sale agreement to buy 70% in HJUM subsidiary H.J. Unkel Chemicals Sdn Bhd (HJU Chemicals) for RM9mil.

The agreement was signed with H.J. Unkel (M) Sdn Bhd and two individuals – Chong Sau Kin and Ye Suping.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Ancom Nylex said the deal is expected to be completed in three months, to be fully settled using cash, bank borrowings and internal funds.

Chong and Ye are also directors of HJU Chemicals.
