Trading ideas: Comintel, Cypark Resources, Symphony Life, Uzma and Computer Forms


KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Monday include Comintel, Cypark Resources, Symphony Life, Uzma and Computer Forms, said Apex Research.

Comintel Corp Bhd has bagged a contract to develop a 42-storey serviced apartment block in Bukit Jalil for RM168.3 million.

Cypark Resources Bhd's net profit rose 25.8% QoQ to RM6.77 million.

Symphony Life Bhd is suing its former development partner for RM150 million over a terminated agreement to jointly develop residential condominiums in Langkawi.

Uzma Bhd’s 70%-owned subsidiary Uzma LNG Sdn Bhd is supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to ND Paper’s factory in Banting, Selangor for RM70 million.

Computer Forms (M) Bhd’s largest and controlling shareholder Datuk Seri Jacky Pang Chow Huat has ceased to be a substantial shareholder after undertaking hefty disposals this week.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could continue to extend its gains towards the resistance of 1,431 points following the bullish performance on Wall Street.

The US market rallied on Friday to post its best quarter since 2020 after core Personal Consumption Expenditures index showed lower-than-expected inflation.

Similarly, European stocks ended higher after Euro zone inflation was slower than expected.
