SMG proposes first and final dividend of one sen for FY22

KUALA LUMPUR: Star Media Group Bhd (SMG) is proposing a first and final single-tier dividend of one sen per ordinary share in respect of its financial year ended Dec 31, December 2022 (FY22).

The proposal is subject to shareholders’ approval at the company’s forthcoming 51st AGM.

“The details of entitlement and payment dates of the aforesaid dividend will be determined and announced by the company in due course,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

SMG reported a 16% increase in revenue for FY22 to RM217mil as a result of revenue-focused initiatives by the management that led to the continuous improvement in its financial performance.
