Boustead Plantations net profit rises in Q4


Boustead said net profit rose to RM87.23mil in its fourth quarter from RM85.14mil a year earlier.

PETALING JAYA: Boustead Plantations Bhd believes prices of palm products in 2023 will stabilise after a volatile market in 2022.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said net profit rose to RM87.23mil in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2022, from RM85.14mil in the previous corresponding period.

Revenue was lower at RM263.58mil, compared with RM341.5mil previously.

Basic earnings per share stood at 3.90 sen versus 3.80 sen a year earlier.
