Mohammed Rashdan appointed Energy Commission chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: The Energy Commission (EC) has today announced the appointment of Mohammed Rashdan Mohd Yusof as its new chairman effective Feb 15, 2023 to replace Datuk Azian Osman whose service ends on Feb 14, 2023.

This appointment is based on the approval by the Prime Minister, according to an EC statement.

"EC welcomes the leadership of Mohammed Rashdan to bring EC’s agenda to a higher level,” it said.

He has extensive experience in the economic sector as well as company management, especially in the field of corporate restructuring and investment banking.

Mohd Rashdan is currently the deputy managing director of the Gamuda group since 2018.- Bernama
