Central banks continue fight against inflation


Data show the inflation situation in the United States is improving. US inflation slowed down to 6.5% in December 2023 (November 2023: 7.1%). — Reuters

IT was another eventful week as major central banks – the US Federal Reserve (Fed), the Bank of England (BoE) and the European Central Bank (ECB) met to decide on their respective monetary policies.

The message was clear – the fight against inflation is not over.
