10 firms to take part in Arab Health 2023 expo


Matrade said it is organising the participation of the 10 companies to create export opportunities for Malaysian medical devices and healthcare services in the Middle East and North Africa region.

KUALA LUMPUR: Ten Malaysian medical device and pharmaceutical companies will participate in the Arab Health 2023 medical expo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from Jan 30 to Feb 2, 2023.

The Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) said it is organising the participation of these companies, which include KPJ Healthcare Bhd and UEM Edgenta Bhd, to create export opportunities for Malaysian medical devices and healthcare services in the Middle East and North Africa region.

“Various high-value products and services from Malaysia will be promoted to over 50,000 global visitors expected at the event, including medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and wellness products and services,” the agency said.

This year marks Matrade’s 19th year of participation in the event.Its director of lifestyle and life sciences, Razida Hanim Abdul Razak, anticipated a steady global demand for Malaysian quality healthcare products for 2023. — Bernama
