Yinson unit gets extension for Angola job


Yinson said the tenure of the agreement, which originally was for 60 days from Dec 2, 2022, is now extended up to Feb 23.

PETALING JAYA: Yinson Holdings Bhd’s indirect wholly owned unit Yinson Azalea Production Pte Ltd has received the greenlight to further extend its initial agreement on preliminary activities for the Agogo Integrated West Hub Development Project in Angola.

The greenlight was given by Eni Angola S.p.A, a wholly owned subsidiary of Azule Energy.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Yinson said the tenure of the agreement, which originally was for 60 days from its effective date of Dec 2, 2022, is now extended for a period of up to Feb 23.

The agreement’s value of about US$281mil (RM928.57mil), however, remains unchanged.
