Reservoir Link secures RM11.4mil solar PV contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd has secured a contract worth RM11.4mil for the supply of mounting structure for a large-scale solar photovoltaic plant development

The energy-related services provider, in a Bursa filing, said its 51% owned subsidiary Founder Energy Sdn Bhd received the purchase order from Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunview Group Bhd.

Under the scope of the contract, Reservoir Link will supply solar mounting systems which are expected to be delivered between January to April 2023 to the project location.

Executive director Thien Chiet Chai is confident the group would be able to win more contracts in the coming months ahead given its solid industry presence in the renewable energy space.

“Looking ahead, we will also be strategically on the lookout for more diverse business opportunities where we will be able to further widen our offerings in renewable energy not just limited to solar.

“We are open to exploring other alternatives in renewables which will ideally put us in the optimum position to further scale up our renewables front in tandem with the growing uptake in renewables,” he said in a statement.
