Hibiscus gets debt boost


THE recent announcement by Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd that it had secured a significant debt facility from four top global banks must have come as a pleasant surprise for its shareholders.

In the past, the oil and gas (O&G) exploration and production company had largely turned to equity financing, mainly from share placement exercises, for its capital expenditure.
