An encouraging July-September quarter for corporate Malaysia


PETALING JAYA: Listed companies in Malaysia posted decent earnings for the July-September quarter with an average of about two-third of companies’ earnings meeting or exceeding market expectations.

In particular, sectors that stood out with major improvements in earnings included consumer and oil and gas.
