Kelington quarterly showing rises


PETALING JAYA: Kelington Group Bhd is confident of delivering a commendable financial performance in 2022, as it executes its existing order book across its key operating markets.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the engineering and construction firm said it had secured new contracts amounting to RM1.36bil in 2022.

For its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2022, Kelington’s net profit rose to RM15.71mil from RM7.96mil a year earlier.

Revenue, meanwhile, jumped to RM366.39mil from RM106.37mil a year earlier. Basic earnings per share stood at 2.44 sen compared with 2.29 sen previously.
