Inari remains cautious on outlook


Inari says its stance is in view of global economic uncertainties arising from inflation, conflicts and supply chain disruptions due to covid lockdowns.

PETALING JAYA: Inari Amerton Bhd remains cautious on growth in its recurring radio frequency and optoelectronics business for the rest of its current financial year ending June 30, 2023.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the semiconductor firm said this was in view of global economic uncertainties arising from inflation, conflicts and supply chain disruptions due to covid lockdowns.

Meanwhile, its net profit for the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2022 was flat at RM106.25mil, compared with RM106.93mil a year earlier. Revenue dipped to RM377mil versus RM431.12mil before. Earnings per share stood at 2.86 sen, compared with 2.98 sen previously.
